Queston 1:

1. She is 69 year-old (low immune system).

2. She lives in a long term facility care (More at risk).

CASE II

Question 1:

Reassure that this is a temporary side effects of bronchodilator (salbutamol).

Question 2:

  1. Inhaler has little systemic absorption.

  2. With low dose prescribed; there is little risk of disturbing growth.

CASE III

Question 1:

1. Inspect the mucous membrane (Rationale: skin color doesn't affect mucous membrane. Lips, nailbeds, and earlobes are less-reliable indicator of cyanosis).

CASE IV

Question 1:

1. Respiratory Alkalosis (result from alveolar hyperventilation).

CASE V

Question 1:

1. Rinse out his mouth after using the inhaler.
